Explore the beautiful Ourika Valley, nestled in the Atlas Mountains. Take a walk in the valley at the bottom of the mountain and learn about Berber traditions. Not far from Marrakech, in between the Atlas Mountains, the Ourika Valley is a relaxing and green place. Here, Berber villages and houses with red earth mix with the mountains. You will leave in the morning for the Ourika Valley.
On the way, feel free to stop anytime to enjoy the view and take nice photos. Discover typical Berber houses and join in a local tea ceremony (Berber Whisky). You will also get to visit a traditional women’s cooperative making argan oil and a craft pottery where you can buy unique products from this region. (The visit is free and at the customer’s request).
At the end of the valley, you will reach Setti-Fatma, a very attractive and stunning place.
A local guide will take you along a path to see the famous waterfalls in the area. It’s a chance to cool off.
You can have lunch on the spot, by the river, or at one of the typical local restaurants’ terraces. Afterwards, enjoy a nap under the warm sun or in the shade of a fruit tree.
You will return to Marrakech in the late afternoon and then head back to where you’re staying.
You will be picked up from your hotel/riad/accommodation in Marrakech. If you are staying inside the Medina (old town), your meeting point will be at the nearest accessible point for vehicles.
